Greetings friends and followers, as of today I have activated a PayPal donation option on my WordPress page. And, after much frustration, it is finally working!!! You can access the donate option by going directly to my WordPress page. Just follow this link, or go to http://www.annalisefonza.com. As I wrote the other day, to go on this trip to Dublin, Ireland, to present at the AESOP-ACSP conference, I need your support. I need to raise $400 for registration fees as soon as possible or before the end of May when my paper and the registration fees are due. Following that, I need to book my flight and hotel. I hope to do that no later than June 15. If I can make it, with your help, to my goal of $4000.00 for the entire trip, or even three-quarters of that amount, then I think I will be in good shape!
Well, anyhow, thank you sooooo much in advance. I will be posting updates as the donations progress, in an effort to keep you informed. I am really looking forward to traveling to Dublin to attend the conference, to meet with Clergy Project members, and to take my work and my voice to other landscapes, which is, for me, the next level. I hope that you will believe in me and what I am doing enough to support.
Well, that’s all for now, but thanks again from a (formerly) four-eyed, skinny girl with a funny name!
Many thanks to News 22, WWLP, in Springfield, Massachusetts, for covering my Museum lecture yesterday to honor Massachusetts State Representative Benjamin Swan. In addition, thanks to those who came out to support and especially to Hal Swan for being a guest speaker. It was a great event, and I am already looking forward to the next one! Conducted on September 2, 2012, this interview with Black Freethinkers (Chicago) was really fun. Definitely a highlight of my experiences in 2012. I hope that you have time to listen. Enjoy!
In case you missed it! My interview along with Teresa MacBain and Jeff Satterwhite on NPR – SPAR with Jamila Bey, which aired on December 3, 2012. It’s an hour long in three parts, but really worth the listen. Enjoy! http://voicerussia.com/tag_96784617/
