Be Present to Self, then Others!

Just because someone is hanging around you or calling you or texting you or talking to you, even on FB or any other social media tool for that matter, doesn’t mean that s/h/i is genuinely present, in mind and in being. To be present one must first and foremost be authentically present to self (not hiding or in denial about one’s self, one’s feelings, one’s identity). If you are not present to self, if you are not honestly acknowledging and embracing who you are and what you feel, then you will probably always be alone and, sooner or later, others will feel alone when you are around. Be present to self and then you can be present to others!
